Artsy x Dior x Bergdorf Goodman

In 2018, Artsy expanded on their commitment to supporting and celebrating emerging artists by turning Vanguard, its’ annual editorial series into an Artsy Signature Experience that gave the listed artists incredible opportunities for exposure in real life. 

The program included an art x fashion takeover of three Bergdorf Goodman windows, a curated art show on the 3rd floor of Bergdorf Goodman, and a VIP opening party to celebrate the collaboration – coinciding with Frieze New York and the Met Gala. 

Windows

Custom art installations were created in three of the highly-visible, highly-trafficked, Bergdorf Goodman 5th Avenue windows by the artists featured in Artsy’s editorial list.  Artsy collaborated with the Bergdorf Goodman visual team and Dior, who contributed the fashion elements made up entirely of Dior pieces.

Art Show

A one-of-a-kind art show featuring a mix of works from the artists in the editorial feature on Bergdorf Goodman’s 3rd floor, adjacent to the Dior Boutique,  was created.  The show was live for the same two weeks that the windows are up, and shoppers had the opportunity to purchase the art.

Unveiling event

To celebrate the opening of the show and unveiling of the windows, Artsy, Bergdorf Goodman and Dior hosted a VIP reception to host artists, influencers, collectors, and preferred clients from BG and Dior.
